Striker Wayne Rooney said he was happy playing as a midfielder on the day of the fourth phase of Champions League Group C against Otelul Galati, Wednesday (11/02/2011). According to him, was willing to assume the role again in the future.
"I played in that position when I was young and it is something that means a lot and keep the ball whenever possible. Manager asked me to play in that position and I'm happy to do it," Rooney said.
"I told you before, as a football player, I feel good enough to play in any position. I'm not a big head, but I am able to. If the director wants to play in that position, I am ready, "he said.
