Manchester City recorded almost as spectacular comeback 3-2 win over Sporting Lisbon. Coming from behind 0-2 in the first half, finally turned Citizens won 3-2. If they could make one more goal then they will qualify for the Europa League quarter-finals.
City proved tough at home at Etihad Stadium or the City of Manchester because since 1971 they've lost once in Europe. Of the 33 games, the new Sky Blues lost once against Chelsea.
However, two goals that they suffered from the Sporting equivalent to the number of goals suffered in seven home games in European competition. Sheikh Mansour's team's performance was pretty bad in the first half, lucky they pay through a great performance in the second round.
